Project notes Frontier at BNL (Under construction)

The following is a summary of the steps used to implement the Frontier technology at BNL. It is based on previous efforts to develop this technology at Fermilab and can be found here.

Frontier was initially installed on a test host for experimental purposes and it is sharing the server machine with other applications. In the near future it is planed to perform a Frontier installation on an exclusive server machine.

The frontier server installation can be divided in two main parts: The setting up of the necessary tools to deploy the server -in our case Apache Tomcat, and the second installation of the cache server (Squid).
