Topics for this week

  • Space status - Armen
    • No significant issues with space
    • Will do some extra cleanups at SWT2, AGLT2 and MWT2 (for old stuff, inconsistent space token usage)
    • SLACT2 is slowly adding storage - looks good
    • Saul - NET2 is close to adding 250 TB, final synch in progress, another 250 TB being racked up
  • Deletions status - Hiro
    • Armen - BNL USERDISK deletions are slow and blocking other deletions, total 20k pending
    • Hiro - discussing with Michael if deletion rate can be sped up (doubled) without risking srm
    • Hiro - also thinking of deploying deletion agent at BNL
    • Hiro - studying inconsistencies in central deletion, maybe something left behind
  • User deletion tests - Wensheng
    • Twiki instructions worked for most datasets, but not old ones (but actual deletions still waiting)
  • Hot issues
    • Deletion of validation samples from BNL? Hiro - nothing new from DQ2 team.
  • AOB
    • Aaron - user transferred some data to USERDISK, and could not dq2-put additional data there
    • Hiro - users should not put data on USERDISK, they should use SCRATCHDISK, GROUPDISK or LOCALGROUPDISK (KD will ask Mikhail to restrict this)
