Topics for this week

  • Storage status - Armen
    • BNLDISK, BNLTAPE, BNLPANDA - what to do? Armen - mostly mc08. Get full list and discuss next meeting.
    • Hiro still sees files coming to MCDISK - need to investigate. Ask Alden's help.
  • Central deletion issues - Armen, Hiro
    • Armen following up remaining issues with deletion efficiency and SSB status.
    • AGLT2 and WT2 not running deletions today - informed team.
    • Hiro - 10 million file backlog at BNL!
    • Follow-up with discussions next week at CERN.
  • LOCALGROUPDISK cleaning - Hiro
    • Hiro has created accounting page from http://www.usatlas.bnl.gov/dq2/monitor.
    • Study the information this week and discuss in next meeting (and also with RAC).
    • Shows replica owner (could be site responsible, sometimes).
  • Storage reporting
    • unallocated, unpowered categories. Possible example at http://gate02.grid.umich.edu/aglt2se.shtml.
    • Bestman sites can provide through srm. Charles - maybe dcache can do it too? Hiro - possible through sql? Need some testing.
    • Fall back option - dcache sites can provide url.

  • AOB
    • Flat file space reporting for Bestman sites - Patrick, Wei. Wei - works now with latest version of Bestman!
    • Patrick - Bestman 2 at UTA_SWT2 cluster (installed on test machine). Waiting for final OSG release.
    • Hiro - deployment of new SS at BNL.
