Topics for this week

  • Storage status, central deletion - Armen
    • SLAC was under-reporting: 200 TB on DATADISK, 60 TB on GROUPDISK. Now fixed. Plus did some reallocations, and some more will be needed. Significant cleaning of LOCALGROUPDISK needed, users were asked. Study was carried out on data content of DATADISK, with possible cleaning there as well. Some results: 90 days old unpopular data 315TB, from which 148TB is *ESD, and 180 days old unpopular data, from which 108TB is *ESD.
    • OU reporting issues partly solved. OUHEP_OSG_SCRATCHDISK, which was causing problem, discontinued. Some issues still to follow up.
    • Requested ADC to change thresholds for USERDISK space alarm - no response yet.
    • WISC consistency issues and deletion errors are being followed up.
    • Sites to verify their UNALLOCATED and UNPOWERED space tokens.
    • Central deletion is missing some output files. Patrick will follow up with Armen. Maybe leftover from Aborted tasks.
