LFC launching at AGLT2
- last week
- All DQ2 related issues seems to working.
- Problem with getting pilots to run correctly. Is there a problem with worker node client?
- Fails to import lfc - cannot open shared object file. Something not quite right with the environment.
- What about the other pythons installed in $APP/atlas_app? Interference? Mixing 64 bit and 32 bit, possibly?
- Xin will re-install the python in $APP/atlas_app, making sure its 32 bit.
- new status
- Paul finding errors with transfers today. Communication error on send. Error reading data token header. Has seen these before. * Test reconstruction jobs finish - they make it into the transferring state; * Production jobs were failing because of a prob with LFC command directory creation. * Marco notes that a production job has finished.
LFC launch at UC
- Run LRC update once again.
- Pause pilot submission
- Switch over DQ2
- LFC host: uct2-grid5.uchicago.edu
LFC installation and LRC migration
LFC-based data management tools (Patrick, Charles)
- last week
- File-based deletion working. Scripts from Vincent Garrone for dataset level deletion.
- User dataset deletion. This will probably be a challenge? How is it handled in the LCG?
- updates
- Integrity check needs to be modified for GPFS back ends.
- Deletion tools require BDII - but we've not accepted this as accepted service in US ATLAS, so we'll need to program around it. Charles will be in contact with Stephane.
