I ran the HEP-SPEC06 32-bit suite on multiple machines of each type, so that I could get an idea of the spread in results. The results are below, with the final average value per core, with sigma, that resulted. I ran one additional cpu type during these tests, 32-bit only.

The final results of our benchmarking are now in. I have run both the 32-bit and the 64-bit suite as specified for WLCG sites at https://twiki.cern.ch/twiki/bin/view/FIOgroup/TsiBenchHEPSPECWlcg . Typical run time is 6-7 hours. We will use the 32-bit results in our regular comparisons.

========================== 32-bit results ========================

Measured in units of HEP-SPEC06, I found the following per-core results for the 32bit test:
AMD Opteron 285 dual core ---> 30.11/30.34/29.71 ---> 7.51 +/- 0.07 per core
Intel Xeon X5355 2.66GHz Clovertown quad core ---> 60.16/58.50/60.16 ---> 7.45 +/- 0.10 per core
Intel Xeon E5440 2.83GHz Harpertown quad core ---> 67.77/68.82/68.52 ---> 8.55 +/- 0.06 per core
Intel Xeon E5345 2.33GHz quad core --> 56.14/55.72 ---> 6.99 +/- 0.03 per core

Measured in units of HEP-SPEC06, I found the following per-core results for the 64bit test:
AMD Opteron 285 dual core ---> 31.65 or 7.91/core
Intel Xeon X5355 2.66GHz Clovertown quad core ---> 54.00 or 6.75/core
Intel Xeon E5440 2.83GHz Harpertown quad core ---> 61.70 or 7.71/core
