Topics for this week

  • BNL space crises - Armen, Hiro, Wensheng
    • Michael - Pedro has left, Hiro is now in charge of data and storage management, new org chart with more people added (Jason and Carlos)
    • Armen - list he made last night, most of it already independently set tobedeleted by ADC this morning, 185 TB expected from central deletion
    • Michael - very worried about disk situation, need more headroom, central deletion not working well at all, need more local control
    • Hiro - 200 TB is being moved to DATADISK from MCDISK
    • Hiro - currently ~200 TB queued transfers to DATADISK, only 180 TB free space
    • Crises continues - we will follow up on all of these issues by email
  • Tier 2 space status
    • NET2 down to 20 TB free only! 65 TB tobedeleted. 75 TB dark data?
  • Hot issues
    • Pandamover should register _dis datasets again - KD will follow up
    • Flat file for space reporting for Bestman sites - Patrick, Wei will follow up
  • AOB
    • Patrick - will try Bestman 2 at UTA_SWT2 cluster
    • Wei - will schedule switchover at SLAC in early January
