Core Team Participation

Richard Mount, Armen Vartapetian (for Kaushik De), Michael Ernst, (apologies) Jim Cochran

Operations Report (Armen)

The LHC was in a 2-week technical stop to move the inter-bunch spacing from 1000ns to 150 ns, so no new data. The main activity in the US was simulation production with about 10k jobs running. The simulation production aim was 500M G4 events. It started a week ago and was expected to take 6-8 weeks. Some resources had been moved to analysis to lessen the queues. There had been some dips in simulation production, for example to 800 jobs at BNL, but queues were kept full with analysis.

There had been no major issues with storage. Deletion had shown problems a week ago but was now working again. BNL and SLAC are cleaning up user data. NET2 and SLAC are adding storage.

Progress on Rebrokerage

Michael reported that the implementation was largely complete, but there were still some issues to be resolved before putting rebrokerage into production.

Action Items
