Q&A
sessions are
foreseen on a daily basis. Time will allowed for discussions.
Participants
are encouraged to
bring instrumentation to the workshop. For example many people have cloud
chambers in their schools and never used.
Bring them, but put a clear name tag and take home after you are done
with it.
Participants
are encouraged to
bring any educational material on the subject of particle physics, cosmic rays.
(Educational movies, posters, web links, jokes, cartoons).
Laptops: We will provide laptop connection to the internet using DHCP
and wireless connection.
Desktops: A number of desktop computers will be made available to the
participants.
Computer
projector: will be
available throughout the workshop
Slide
projector: will be available throughout the the
workshop.
Transparency
projector: Our
meeting room is equipped with one
Telephone: The meeting room has two telephone numbers: 344-3609, and 344-7074 (conference
phone)
Lunch will be on your own at Berkner
Hall, (on-site cafeteria), aka
Chez Berkner.
Dinner is served at the Brookhaven Center every day until 8:00 pm,
excluding Saturdays.
We have
scheduled a number of social activities that you should RSVP to.
