Explanation of performance plots

Violet curves show the nominal time to read AOD data at 40 ms/event
and 1/10 that value.

Point are measured times for different analysis jobs:
  small = Zll analysis from PAT group
  SUSY = standard SUSY analysis
  big = top analysis from Hong Ma
The first two create histograms; the latter also creates large ntuples.

All were measured using the BNL LSF "interactive" service using DIAL 1.20
with data distributed over two servers providing a combined input rate
of up to 120 MB/sec.

The SUSY physicists report that it takes 3 hours to process the 146k
events (74 ms/event) and 6.5 minutes for the same sample with the 
service. The service is 27 times faster for that job.
