ADA deployment

Introduction
ADA must deploy and manage a collection of services to provide entry points for users and must also ensure that the backend services supporting these are also deployed an maintained.

At present ADA services are deployed at two sites: BNL and CERN. We expect this list to grow. Supporting bookkeeping services are run at these sites and by AMI.

Scenario Here is the beginning of a deployment scenario.

BNL
BNL normally runs two instances of the DIAL scheduler service: one offering interactive response and one for long-running jobs. See the DIAL service page for more information.

BNL also maintains a MySQL server which holds some of the ADA tables.

CERN
CERN runs a number of services most noatbly one or more for submission to gLite and lcg.

AMI
AMI provides some of the ADA bookkeeping services.
